We had a really bad experience with Amico Loano. A lot of the jobs were pushed off to outside contractors, and the quality was terrible. It honestly felt like nobody at the yard was checking what these subcontractors were doing. Corners were cut everywhere, cheap materials got used where proper ones should have been, and we ended up with problems that had to be fixed again later at our own cost.

On top of that, the prices they gave us at the beginning meant nothing. The invoices kept climbing and by the end we were almost double the original budget. Timelines slipped too — weeks turned into months, with excuse after excuse.

In the end, we paid far too much for poor workmanship and delays. I wouldn’t recommend Amico Loano to any captain or program manager. If you want reliable quality and honest billing, look elsewhere.
