Our 22-meter classic yacht underwent a routine winterization at Amico Loano, but it quickly turned into a nightmare. Simple tasks dragged on for weeks, and each time we visited the boat we found broken fixtures, mismatched screws and paint drips on the mahogany. The yard’s crew kept adding new items to the punch list while invoices ballooned, and communication was nonexistent. After months of excuses and half-finished work, we took the yacht elsewhere to complete the job at extra expense.
