In early 2025, we brought our 30-meter catamaran to Amico Loano for a comprehensive overhaul. The yard promised a top-quality service but delivered a series of missteps: mechanical systems were reassembled with the wrong parts, adhesives were smeared on the fiberglass, and the starboard trampoline net was reinstalled unevenly. Communications were disjointed, with conflicting answers from multiple supervisors. After weeks of delays and additional costs, we took the boat to another yard to correct the numerous errors. The experience was technical frustration, emotional stress, and financial loss.
