We brought our 32-metre motor yacht to Amico Loano for what was supposed to be routine maintenance and a few minor upgrades. We expected professionalism and attention to detail. Instead, we discovered hidden defects and a litany of issues that were left unresolved or made worse.
After taking delivery of our yacht, we found cracks in the paintwork below the waterline, electrical systems that had been miswired, and basic plumbing jobs that leaked. It was obvious that unqualified workers had been let loose on our vessel without proper supervision.
What was even more shocking was the invoice. The final bill was nearly twice the original quote, with vague line items and unexplained surcharges. When we questioned these charges, we were met with indifference and excuses. The project took weeks longer than promised, impacting our schedule and plans for the season.
We ultimately had to hire a reputable yard to correct the errors and finish the work properly. The extra time and expense were frustrating and unnecessary. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Amico Loano to any motor yacht owner who values quality and transparency.
