I’m writing this to warn fellow yacht owners about our disastrous experience with Amico Loano. What was promised as a professional refit quickly turned into a nightmare. The workmanship was sloppy; basic tasks were botched and low-quality materials were used in critical areas. We found corners cut everywhere, from uneven joinery to ill-fitting hardware.

The price transparency was equally poor. The initial quote bore little relation to the final invoice, which nearly doubled by the time they were finished. Every week there seemed to be new “extra” costs added without our approval. Deadlines were constantly missed, with little communication or accountability from management. Instead of solving problems, the yard blamed everyone else and left us to pick up the pieces. After this experience, I can’t recommend Amico Loano to anyone.
